RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

For standard products purchased through our website, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, and to receive a full refund. To exercise this right, simply write to shop@ingasirmione.com before the 14-day period expires, including your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

To be eligible, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it, in its original packaging, complete with tags, dustbag and information cards. Please try footwear on a clean, carpeted surface: soles showing any sign of wear cannot be accepted.

Special made-to-order pieces

In accordance with Article 59, paragraph 1(c) of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or produced to order according to the customer's specifications — for instance, variations in size, colour or other features requested specifically. These special pieces, as well as gift cards, cannot be returned.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm receipt and notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be credited to your original method of payment within a few working days.

If you have not yet seen your refund credited, we suggest checking again with your bank or card issuer, as posting times may vary. If, after these checks, the refund still does not appear, please write to shop@ingasirmione.com.

Size exchanges

Should the size you ordered prove not to be right, you may request an exchange within 14 days of receiving your order by writing to shop@ingasirmione.com. Return shipping is at your expense, via the courier of your choice; once the exchange has been processed, INGA will reship the replacement item free of charge. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for the exchange to be completed.

Faulty or damaged items

We replace items presenting manufacturing faults or defects arising from their making. As provided under European law, every purchase is also protected by the statutory guarantee of conformity, which covers defects already present at the time of delivery — not wear resulting from normal use. For our handcrafted pieces, the slight variations inherent in handmade work are part of their value and do not constitute a defect. Should any issue arise, please write to shop@ingasirmione.com.

Gifts

If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, please contact us at shop@ingasirmione.com and we will find the most suitable solution together, from an exchange to a credit of equal value.

Returns and exchanges from outside the European Union

When a parcel re-enters Italy from a country outside the European Union, Italian customs may treat it as a new importation and levy import VAT and customs clearance charges, estimated at around 26–28% of the declared value. Where such charges are effectively applied, they will be deducted from the amount reimbursed.

Return shipping costs are at your expense and are non-refundable; if a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the amount reimbursed. We recommend a tracked service or shipping insurance: we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns.
