Here are some tips for keeping our plated jewelry looking like new:
Don't expose your jewelry to harsh chemicals.
This means taking off the jewelry when you enter a chlorinated pool or seawater.
Likewise, when you wash your hands, apply lotion, perfume or even make-up, do so before putting on the ring or necklace.
Clean them occasionally to remove any residue present, including sweat. Even a simple eyeglass cloth can suffice.
When not in use, store it in a jewelry case or pouch. Remember to keep them out of direct sunlight.
