The products you see on our pages are real. Every piece of jewellery, every bag, every accessory is photographed by us — the exact item you will receive, or an identical item from the same collection.

Many of the images on this site are photographs and nothing else: pieces shot in our boutique in Sirmione, and images from our own archive of shoots with professional models wearing our jewellery and accessories. Where you see a real person, it is a real photograph of a real shoot.

Other images place a product photograph into a setting created with the help of digital and artificial intelligence tools, or show the piece worn by a figure that does not portray any real person. There, the setting and the figure are a composition. The object is not. The product remains the one we photographed, with its own materials, proportions and details.

Photographs, and figures that are not people

For many years our images were made in the traditional way: photographs and film shot with professional models wearing our pieces. That archive is still with us, and we still publish from it. Those images are photographs, taken with the consent of the women in them, and we do not place them into settings they were never in.

Newer images are made differently. Producing a full shoot for every piece is beyond the scale of a boutique like ours, so the product is photographed here and then shown worn by a figure created with artificial intelligence. That figure is not a portrait of anyone: she does not exist, and she is not generated from the likeness of a real person. What she wears is the real piece.

We do not generate images of real people, and we do not place our models into settings they were never in. When a real person appears in our images, that image is a photograph, taken with her consent. The figures in composed images are not portraits of anyone: they do not exist.

What we never do

We never use artificial intelligence to invent a product, or to alter its colour, shape, materials or proportions. Our settings do not represent real places or real events; whenever a scene does depict a recognisable location, we say so alongside the image.

What you can rely on

Every product page includes at least one photograph of the item on a plain background, without any setting. That is the reference image — the one that describes precisely what you are buying. The others are the atmosphere around it.

Handcrafted pieces and vintage treasures

Our own creations are handmade in Italy by artisans we have worked with for years. Slight differences in tone, grain, hardware or finish from one piece to the next are the signature of that work, not a flaw: on our iconic bags in particular, handles and leathers vary from batch to batch.

Our vintage pieces are something else again — signed items from other houses and other decades, selected and authenticated one by one. Each carries the marks of its own history, and our Authenticity & Vintage Policy explains how we verify and describe them.

We are a boutique before we are a website, and behind these pages there are two people who know every item in the room. Write to us or call before you buy: we will gladly send you additional photographs of the piece in stock, taken there and then.
